August 17. It was an embarrassing Monday, as I call it. My driving instructor, Henry, picked me up as early as 8 o’clock in the morning prior to my road test for a warm up and short review. It went well I thought , despite the fact that I am a little nervous and anxious at the same time. Clock hits 9:30 and here comes this straight faced guy asking me some pre-trip questions before we begin the test. While on the road, I found his instructions a bit misleading, although I thought I did good. Unexpectedly, as we were approaching the intersection, a bus was parked on the side of the road. Little did I know that there was supposed to be a playground zone sign, and there I go running at 40 km/h instead of 30. With that one single mistake, the examiner decided that I am yet to gain more experience. So there goes my supposedly New Driver’s license flying out the car window.
